Frequently Asked Questions
Where does your coffee come from?
Our coffees are cultivated worldwide and sourced seasonally from regions within the equatorial belt, including Latin America, South America, Northeast Africa, and Indonesia.
How soon does my order ship after placing it?
We strive to ship freshly roasted coffee with every order. Typically, orders are shipped within 3 business days of placement. If there are any delays, we will do our best to inform you. For any questions, please email us at support@averagerunningjoe.com.
Where do you ship?
We only ship within the United States.
How do I get in contact with you?
For any questions about orders, our coffee, or anything else, please email us at support@averagerunningjoe.com.
Is your coffee Certified Organic or Fair Trade?
While our coffees may not always carry Certified Organic and/or Fair Trade labels, we ensure that at least 90% of our beans do. Since coffee is an international commodity, trade agreements and political issues can sometimes prevent our roaster from sourcing certified beans. In such cases, our roaster thoroughly vets the farms to ensure they meet or exceed Organic and/or Fair Trade standards. We source the highest quality beans in the world, and even though some farms can't afford certification, they still adhere to the same stringent practices.
